COSME is the EU programme for the Competitiveness of Enterprises and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), running from 2014 to 2020, with a budget of €2.3billion. COSME is supporting SMEs in:

• Facilitating access to finance
• Supporting internationalisation and access to markets
• Creating an environment favourable to competitiveness
• Encouraging an entrepreneurial culture

One of COSME goals is to contribute to the sustainable and climate-resilient economic diversification and prosperity of Caribbean OCTs, by improving the competitiveness of SMEs in the participating territories.
